Free Choice

Goals: (Describe what type of project you will do for your free choice)

Planning: (plan the project by creating some type of brainstorming sheet)

If you are creating a short story, then you should list and describe the characters, list and describe the setting, explain the main conflict the character will face, list the events that will occur in the short story, and tell what the resolution will be.

If you are writing an essay, list your thesis, your main arguments or supporting ideas, and the details that will go in each paragraph.

If you are writing a descriptive piece, then tell what you will be describing, what the mood is that you want to create, brainstorm for sensory images you will want to include.

If you are creating a script for the scene, then tell who the characters are, the setting, the main conflict, and the resolution.

If you are creating a booklet of poetry, all the poems must relate to a theme. Describe what each poem will be: the format, the main idea, and how it relates to that theme. Also plan what you will do to illustrate that poem.

If you are doing some other type of project, then create a planning sheet that would fit your project.
