My Brother Sam

My Brother Sam Is Dead by James Lincoln Collier and Christopher Collier is a novel about the Revolutionary War Time Period. 

The novel involves a family caught between two sides.  Sam, the oldest son, has joined the Rebels.  His father is a loyal supporter of King George.  Tim, the narrator and brother of Sam is caught between his brother and his father.  He tries to make sense of the war and decide which side he is on.
