Part I – Plot Line Poster (70 pts)

Plot Development

The events on the plot line clearly explain what happens in the novel. Events are placed correctly on the plot line in a sequential order, so that the reader can identify the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. ____/40 pts

Presentation

The project is neat and has followed all directions. The title and author are at the top, the parts of the plot line are labeled, and graphics are used effectively to represent the plot. Part II – Written Parts (30 pts)

Character

Three characters were written about, each in a separate paragraph. A physical description as well as a description of the character’s personality are given. Details from the novel were used to describe the character and to tell why the writer would or would not want him/her as a friend. _____/15 pts

Conflicts

Two or three conflicts were written about, each in a separate paragraph. The type of conflict, a description of the conflict, and an explanation as to how the conflict is resolved has been given in each paragraph. Details from the novel were used. _____/15 pts
